Best Bachelorette Fitness Classes in DC
Wedding season is upon us and that means – bachelorette parties! For those brides who opt for a bit of cardio before being showered in champagne and fancy new lingerie, here are our recommendations for fun classes in the DC area that also happen to be close to awesome post-workout brunch spots.
For the Bride Ready to Channel Her Inner Beyoncé: ((305)) Fitness
((305)) is the exercise class equivalent of twerking in a Miami club from 1-2am. The impressive teachers AND in-studio DJ truly make this class feel like a party. The class moves quickly so there’s no time to be embarrassed about any of your moves and everyone can just let loose.
Details:
At 305, you have two options for booking your dance party.
1. Private Option: Get the room entirely to yourself with a private class. Pricing options start at $450 to book a private party. You can choose your own instructor and/or DJ and put in a few song requests as well! (So if you've got 12 people in your group, that's $37.50/person) If you're going for a private party, fill out this private party form!
2. Economical Option: You can reserve up to 12 spots in any of 305's public classes that are open for sign-up. If you're interested in a class that's not yet open for sign-up (more than two weeks out from the current date), you can pre-book your group to ensure you and your guests are together for a $5 per head, non-refundable pre-booking fee. That will come out $34/person.

Classic: Vinoteca - grab a great class of wine and play some bocce outside.
For the Classic Bride: Xtend Barre
Xtend Barre in Arlington – right by the Courthouse metro – is a super fun all-levels option. Xtend offers both traditional barre as well as their unique Xtend Stick, Fit Ball, or Xtend Dance classes so pick whatever is right for your bride. They'll decorate the studio with mirror art decorations and balloons and will let you bring in drinks so you can pop that bubbly after class.
Details:
Xtend has two studios to accommodate based on your party size. Groups up to 10 are $225. Groups larger than 10 enjoy the larger studio and are an additional $18/person up to 20 people. So a group of 15 would be $21/person.

Classic: Tupelo Honey - great menu + the BEST (free!) biscuits
Classy: Screwtop Wine Bar - do a wine tasting and get a bunch of shared plates. A great option if you opt for a later in the day barre class.
For the Pro-Penis Favors Bride: Pole Pressure
If you’re planning a party for the bride who specifically requests a penis cake and secretly wishes she could have had her bachelorette in Vegas, then a private pole dancing class should be right up her alley!
Details:
Pole Pressure is a pro at parties! They'll let you bring snacks and drinks (no booze, sorry friends) to enjoy before or after class. It's $125 to reserve the space and an additional $25 per person. So if you've got a group of 15, that will come out to $34/person.

For the Adventurous Bride: Fuel Body Lab – TRAMP
For the bride who’s already tried all of the fitness trends and is always down for a new adventure – sign up for Fuel Body Lab’s TRAMP class. Participants jump around on their own mini trampolines in this super fun class and, let’s be honest, who cannot be the happiest ever when they’re jumping around on a trampoline? (Plus, Busy Philipps is a fan of this style workout and makes it look SO fun!)
Details:
Fuel offers private classes for 10 people (no more, no less) for $24/person. They also offer goody bags that include sticky socks (a requirement for the class), water, and towel for an additional $14 per person - that essentially pays for the socks & gives the water & towel for free!
