Well Read + barre3 at Eaton DC

The physical portion happens first - it's 45-60 minutes of a wellness-centered practice (e.g. yoga, meditation, running, HIIT, boxing, barre). The second half of the class is article discussion where we dive into the tough shit: work, money, love, sex, health all with the intention of truly connecting with those around us. The goal is to celebrate all the amazing things our minds and bodies can do, and we do it together.

After taking the month of July to move and re-brand, Well Read is back in action at Eaton Wellness. We're teaming up with barre3 Georgetown for a 55-minute barre workout courtesy of Megan McGarvey!

Before delving into our article discussion, there will be time to decompress, chat and refuel. We'll have plenty of yummy beverages and a build your own bowl bar with fresh fruit, dark chocolate, nuts and more.

Once we're good and fed, we'll talk about this month's article Smash the Wellness Industry by Jessica Knoll of the New York Times. This opinion piece takes a look at the darker side of the wellness industry and what it can do to our feelings of self-worth (and our wallets).
